Staying Informed

As we begin publicizing the Respiratory Health Survey of Taconite Workers and Spouses and start recruiting participants, patients may have questions. We want their primary care doctor, to be fully informed as to the nature of the health survey and specifically what tests will be performed. Also, as individuals are selected for the health survey they may ask their doctor's advice about participating. We hope that by keeping the medical community informed that local doctors will feel comfortable to encourage their patients, who are selected, to participate.

 

Refer to the FAQ page in which we try to address common questions physicians or their patients may have regarding the study. A high participation rate among people who are selected is crucial to the success of the study.
